How To Setup Linksys Router ?

a)Create Physical Setup and connection : 

You can simply start by setting your Linksys Router next to your modem and make plugging on to the power supply into socket. Provide fully power up.Now make connection of your Ethernet cable from your modem's Ethernet port to WAN or Internet Port on the router.

At beginning phase,using your Linksys router's wireless connection,make connect one of the router's number port to your computer which is using an Ethernet cable for setting up process.

 c)Check SSID Settings

Changing and hiding your SSID can be a useful tool for deterring uninvited users on your wireless connection.

1.Make Click Wireless from the main menu and select or choose the Wireless Network Name (SSID) field.

2.Now, Enter a valid name for your network's SSID.

3.This is the name that comes up in wireless network lists, so something easy to identify as your own way is best.

4.After you have entered a specific name, select the Disable radio button for Wireless SSID Broadcast.

5.then select Save Settings when you're  almost done.

d)Ensure Security Settings

From the Wireless menu,chosen Wireless Security tab and choose WEP from the Security Mode drop-down menu.

1.Select 126 bits( 26 hex digits) from the drop-down menu and enter a password in the Passphrase Correspondence field. Make sure your  selected password is relatively strong, (consisting of numbers, symbols and a mix of upper and lower-case letters). 

2.If you will getting difficulties to memorize this password, just do one thing write down somewhere else, you can easily find it again as per need required.

When you are done  with creating the appropriate password, click Generate,which is  followed by Save Settings.

e)Check your Connection Test

If you're establishing or setting up a wired connection,Please visit any website in your preferred web browser to check the test the connection after you've finished the setup process. If the wired connection doesn't work, walk through the basic set-up steps again and double-check that your settings were statistically  saved.

If you're using a wireless connection, disconnect all your Ethernet cables from your computer and click the Network icon in the system tray which exist. Please Select your wireless network from the list and make enter the password you have created, then make allow the computer for few seconds to connect with your Linksys router.Now Your Network icon shows that now you are connected with Internet and then open your preferred web browser and make search for any website.
